An expected victory for the 3rds against a youthful 4th team who acquitted themselves admirably against an experienced and largely full 3rd team selection. Both teams had good periods of possession but the clinical finishing of Bruce Robertson in particular punished any shortcomings in the 4ths defence. With Graham Reid having another fine game and chipping in with 3 strikes of his own, MoM in my opinion still goes to young Callum Ross who besides 2 well taken goals, showed fine effort, awareness and ability throughout the match in his midfield role. I'm sure Bruce would have no objections to this assessment despite his telling contribution. |
