Ladies 2 Vs western orangesox

The game began with play flowing from end to end with western opening there account in the 14 minutes with a deflection at the back post from a corner.  They then further extended there lead in the 21st minute through an open play goal.  This spurred wanderers on and int he same minute a goal was scored.  Jen kyle picked the ball up and fed to Jenny Gerrard, who spun pushing the ball to the back post where Morgan Hutchinson was on hand to deflect into the goal.  Following good persistance by Nicola Martin a corner was awarded which led to the equaliser with a straight strike from Rachel Russell.  This strong play continued with wanderers taking the lead for the first time.  A through ball to Jenny Gerrard who drove into the D, squared to Ashley Bunce who slapped home into the goal.

The second half began similar to the first with play moving from end to end with little goal scoring opportunities arising.  Within the last 20 mins wanderers began to excert more pressure and following good build up work by Jen Kyle a corner was awarded which Rachel Russell again scored from the straight strike. A few more opportunities arised as the half finished.
