| Match Report | A pre-season friendly between the 3s and 4s proved to be a demonstration of scoring prowess. On a very sunny day at DISC, Marc Shanks opened the scoring for the 3s, but there was a quick reply from the mercurial Gregor Pearson to bring the 4s level. Ross Johnston once again put the 3s ahead with a fine solo effort. However the 4s were not to be outdone and after Pearson rode two good tackles he slotted the ball home through Craig Nichol’s legs. It was at this point that the 3s begin to dominate, and despite some very good work by the 4s, Johnston scored to give the 3s the lead. Further goals were added by Mark Walker, Darren Piggott and Johnston. The 4s were denied a consolation after Pearson was adjudged to have kicked the ball into the goal.
